- Provisioning:
- If you are configuring X-Lite via remote provisioning, you can set the priority for codecs using the new setting codecs::quality. Assign a number to each codec; a higher number means the codec has a higher priority. (K1534)
- Codecs:
- Under Softphone > Preferences > Codecs, the “Honor first codec” field has been removed. Now, X-Lite always honors the first codec. (The option for letting X-Lite override the first codec and choose the “best codec in the situation” is no longer supported.) (SB1318)
- Favorites:
- Previously if you imported a contact list that had been previously exported from a Bria that supported Favorites, the Favorites were lost. Now, when you export and import, the Favorites information is retained. (K1507)
- Calling from a Hyperlink:
- You can now use X-Lite to make calls from a hyperlink. The following formats are supported: sip: tel: and callto:
